Four Ways I Help Businesses Grow

Generate More Local Leads

For tradies, healthcare providers, property businesses, professional services and other locally focused operators, the priority is usually being found by the right people in the right service areas.

That can involve local SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, Google Ads, service and location content, stronger reviews, better landing pages, phone and form tracking, and a clearer process for turning enquiries into profitable work. The goal is not simply to make the phone ring more often. It is to generate the kinds of jobs, bookings or matters the business actually wants.

Build a Stronger B2B Pipeline

Manufacturers, OEMs, industrial suppliers, mining-service providers, technology businesses and professional firms often have longer buying cycles and much higher customer values. Their marketing needs to help technical buyers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers understand capability, trust the business and take the next step.

I help connect SEO, paid search, technical and commercial content, landing pages, CRM tracking and sales-pipeline reporting so marketing is measured against qualified opportunities rather than surface-level website activity.

Grow eCommerce Revenue More Profitably

For eCommerce businesses, revenue growth only matters when it makes commercial sense. Advertising, Google Shopping, product feeds, category visibility, landing pages, conversion rates, average order value and customer acquisition cost all influence the result.

I look at the entire acquisition journey rather than treating SEO, Shopping, Meta Ads and the website as separate projects. Sometimes the opportunity is to increase traffic. Sometimes it is to stop paying for the wrong traffic. Sometimes the biggest gain comes from improving what happens after a visitor reaches the site.

Convert More Existing Interest Into Business

A business may already attract visitors, recommendations and enquiries but lose opportunities when the website leaves questions unanswered or the next step is difficult. More traffic will not resolve every problem in that journey.

I review how people understand the offer, assess suitability and make contact, then identify practical improvements to the page structure, forms, booking steps and follow-up. The aim is to help more of the right people progress from interest to a useful conversation or purchase.

Country NSW Values, Global Digital Experience

Years Creating Strategies That Work
0 +

I grew up in Leeton in the Riverina. When I was at school, I did farm work for pocket money, and that taught me something I have carried throughout my career: money represents somebody's time and effort.

10+ years creating strategies that work

When a sole trader, family business or larger company gives someone responsibility for a marketing budget, that money deserves to be treated with respect. It should not be pushed into a campaign because a salesperson has a target to hit or because an agency has a standard package it wants to sell. There should be a sound commercial reason for where the investment is going and a clear way to judge whether it is helping.

My first proper position was with Neville Kschenka OAM at Custom Music in Narrandera. It was a family business connected to one of my own passions, music and playing guitar, and it gave me an early understanding of how closely a business can be tied to the people, family and reputation behind it.

Since then, my career has taken me through advertising, enterprise onboarding, technical and consultative sales, account management, commercial strategy and digital marketing. I have worked with Australian SMEs, enterprise customers and organisations across industrial, healthcare, commercial, retail, hospitality, technology and professional-service markets.

I also spent around seven years living and working in Bangkok, holding senior agency, marketing, commercial-growth and director-level roles while working with businesses across Australia and the broader Asia-Pacific region. That experience exposed me to different markets, business models and levels of digital maturity, but it reinforced a simple lesson: technology changes quickly, while good business still depends on listening properly, doing what you say you will do and treating people fairly.

Today I am based in Batemans Bay on the South Coast of NSW. I bring the broader experience with me, but the way I work is still grounded in those country values.

Some of My Areas of Expertise

Digital Strategies Include

Senior Digital Marketing Strategy Without the Agency Layers

I work directly with business owners and decision-makers to understand what is happening commercially, identify where marketing is helping or holding the business back, and build a practical plan around the outcomes that matter. That may involve improving your visibility on Google, fixing an underperforming website, rebuilding a paid advertising account, strengthening your lead generation or simply providing an experienced second opinion before you spend more money.

No generic package. No unnecessary jargon. No handing you from a salesperson to an account manager who has barely had time to understand the business.

The starting point is a straightforward conversation about where the business is now, where you want it to go and what needs to change to get there.

SEO, Google Ads, websites and conversion strategy for South Coast businesses and growth-focused companies across Australia.

Based in Batemans Bay, I help businesses across Eurobodalla, the South Coast, NSW and Australia turn digital marketing into clearer enquiries, stronger websites and better commercial decisions.

Marketing Should Start With the Business, Not the Channel

LEARNING WHAT MATTERS TO YOUR BUSINESS

The first step is understanding what you want to grow.

A lot of digital marketing begins with a service being sold. An SEO company recommends SEO. A Google Ads agency recommends more advertising. A web developer recommends a new website. Each of those services can be valuable, but none of them should be the automatic answer before someone understands the wider business.

Before I recommend anything, I want to know how you actually make money. Which services or products are most profitable? Which customers are the best fit? Which parts of the business do you want to grow, and which parts are already at capacity? What happens after an enquiry comes in? How many leads become quotes, appointments or sales? Are you losing opportunities because the marketing is weak, because the website is unclear, because follow-up is slow, or because the offer itself needs work?

Those questions matter because more traffic is not always the same as more business. More enquiries are not useful when they are the wrong enquiries. A lower cost per click is not a success if none of those clicks becomes a worthwhile customer.

My approach is to understand the commercial situation first, then decide which combination of strategy, SEO, local visibility, Google Ads, website improvements, conversion work, content and measurement is most likely to create a meaningful result.

What I Can Help You With

Digital Marketing Strategy and Independent Advice

Sometimes a business needs a clear growth plan. Sometimes it needs an independent review of an existing agency, campaign or website. Sometimes the owner already has several suppliers but nobody is connecting their work to the wider commercial objectives.

I provide digital marketing strategy, independent audits, channel and budget planning, supplier reviews and fractional marketing leadership. The purpose is to give the business a clear view of what is working, what is not, what should happen next and why.

SEO and Search Visibility

SEO should help the right customers find the business when they are actively looking for its services, products or expertise. My work can include commercial keyword research, technical SEO, on-page optimisation, local SEO, Google Business Profile strategy, content planning, website recovery, indexing issues and preparation for search experiences that increasingly include AI-generated results.

The focus is not rankings for their own sake. It is visibility for searches that can contribute to enquiries, sales and long-term authority.

Google Ads and Paid Media

Google Ads can produce strong results because it reaches people while they are searching, but it can also waste money quickly when campaign structure, search terms, tracking or landing pages are weak.

I work across Search, Performance Max, Shopping, remarketing and broader paid acquisition strategy. I also review and rescue existing accounts, looking beyond clicks and impressions to understand lead quality, sales value, wasted spend and what users do after they reach the website.

Websites, Landing Pages and Conversion

A website should explain what you do, who you help, why someone should trust you and what they should do next. It should also support search visibility, advertising, sales conversations and the real customer journey.

I help with website strategy, WordPress and Elementor websites, redesigns, landing pages, conversion optimisation, content structure and SEO migrations. The goal is not simply a more attractive site. It is a site that represents the quality of the business and helps more suitable visitors become customers.

Analytics, Content and Customer Follow-Up

Good decisions depend on reliable information. I help businesses improve analytics, conversion tracking, phone and form measurement, lead-source visibility, reporting and the connection between marketing activity and actual commercial outcomes.

Content, social media and CRM or email workflows can also support the strategy where they have a clear role. They are not included merely to make a marketing package look larger.

Local Visibility and Google Business Profile

Customers looking for a nearby provider need accurate information about what you do, where you work and how to contact you. Your Google Business Profile and website should tell a consistent story, supported by relevant services, genuine photographs and customer reviews.

I help identify gaps in local visibility and plan improvements around the areas and work your business genuinely serves. That can include profile information, useful local content, review processes and clearer contact routes, without inventing locations or creating repetitive suburb pages.

Connecting Your Digital Marketing Services

SEO and Website Design That Support Local Enquiries

Digital marketing for South Coast NSW businesses often begins with being easier to find and easier to contact. SEO needs clear service information, sensible location coverage and a website Google can access. Website design then needs to help the visitor act: readable pages, useful answers, straightforward forms and a phone number that works on mobile. For Batemans Bay and Eurobodalla businesses, I consider SEO and website design together so the promise made in search matches the experience on the page.

Google Ads With a Clear Commercial Purpose

Google Ads should have a defined job within your digital marketing strategy. That might be generating enquiries for a particular service, supporting seasonal demand or reaching customers across Australia. Before increasing spend, I review the searches, landing pages, measurement and lead quality. For a South Coast NSW business, geographic targeting and the areas you genuinely service matter as much as the advertising settings. The objective is to make Google Ads accountable to worthwhile opportunities, rather than paying for activity that never becomes business.

One Digital Marketing Plan, Connected to Your Business

A digital marketing consultant should help you understand how the pieces fit together. SEO, Google Ads, website design, content and follow-up influence the same customer journey. I help businesses in NSW and across Australia decide where to focus first and what can wait. Digital marketing reporting should explain which enquiries came in, whether they were suitable and what needs to change. That gives you a basis for decisions even when the recommendation is to improve the existing website before buying more traffic.

Why Work Directly With an Independent Consultant?

You work with me, not through layers of account management. I take the time to understand the business, explain my reasoning clearly and stay close enough to the work to see how the different channels affect one another.

That does not mean I pretend to be the only person a business will ever need. Some projects require developers, designers, writers, technical specialists or internal staff. I can work alongside those people, coordinate the wider strategy and make sure the decisions remain connected to the business outcome.

The advantage is that you have an experienced, independent person looking at the whole picture rather than a collection of isolated reports.

A clear plan. A practical next step.

Sometimes the Right Advice Is Not to Spend More

One of the easiest recommendations in marketing is to increase the budget. It is also often the wrong first move.

If tracking is unreliable, the website cannot convert, the service offer is unclear, leads are not being followed up or the current campaigns are targeting the wrong searches, additional spend can magnify the existing problem.

I would rather identify and fix the cause than make the numbers look busier. Sometimes that means improving SEO. Sometimes it means restructuring Google Ads, creating a stronger landing page, changing the way services are presented or pausing activity until measurement is accurate. Occasionally, it means advising a business not to spend more money yet.

That honesty is not an optional extra. It is part of the job.

Who I Work With

My experience spans trades and home services, construction, property, healthcare, allied health, hospitality, tourism, retail, eCommerce, professional services, education, manufacturing, industrial equipment, mining services, technology, franchises and multi-location businesses.

I particularly enjoy working with businesses where marketing has a direct commercial job to do: keeping crews busy with profitable work, filling suitable appointments, building a stronger project pipeline, helping technical buyers understand a complex offer, increasing direct bookings, growing online sales or giving an owner greater confidence in where the budget is going.

I work with sole traders and family businesses as well as larger organisations. The size of the business matters less than the willingness to communicate openly, make sensible decisions and focus on sustainable growth.

Digital Marketing for Batemans Bay, Eurobodalla and South Coast NSW

I provide digital marketing in Batemans Bay with a practical understanding of how regional businesses earn trust. A local recommendation may start the conversation, but customers still check your services, website, reviews and contact details before they call. Digital marketing should make that next step straightforward and show the quality of the business behind it.

For a business serving Eurobodalla and the South Coast of NSW, the plan needs to reflect real service areas, the work you want and the capacity you have. SEO can help customers discover relevant service pages. Google Ads can reach people actively searching for that work. Website design should make it easy to understand your offer and send a useful enquiry. These parts of digital marketing need to support one another.

The same commercial discipline applies across NSW and Australia. A manufacturer selling nationally, a local professional practice and an online store need different digital marketing priorities. I connect the channel decisions with your customers, margins and follow-up process, then use evidence from enquiries, phone calls and sales to decide what should improve next.

Based in Batemans Bay, Working Across Australia

Being based on the South Coast allows me to work closely with businesses in Batemans Bay, Eurobodalla, the wider South Coast and Canberra region. I also work remotely with clients across New South Wales and throughout Australia, drawing on the experience gained from working across Australia and APAC.

For regional businesses, reputation and word of mouth remain incredibly valuable. But even after receiving a recommendation, most potential customers will search the business, visit the website, read reviews and compare alternatives.

Your digital presence is now part of your reputation. It should reflect the standard of service people receive when they deal with you in person.

A Straightforward Working Process

01

Understand the business

We discuss commercial priorities, customers, margins, capacity, current marketing, constraints and the result you want to improve.

02

Identify the real problem

I review the website, search visibility, advertising, competitors, tracking and customer journey to determine where the greatest opportunity or friction sits.

03

Build the right plan

You receive clear recommendations, priorities, responsibilities and a sensible sequence of work rather than a collection of disconnected tactics.

04

Implement and improve

I complete the agreed work directly or coordinate with the people involved, measure what happens and improve the strategy from evidence.

You should understand what is being done, why it is being done and how we will know whether it is working.

Digital Marketing Questions, Answered

My digital marketing services include strategy, SEO, local search visibility, Google Ads, website design, conversion improvements and measurement. I start with the business problem and recommend the combination that fits. A Batemans Bay business may need clearer service pages and enquiry tracking before a larger campaign; another may need an independent review of its existing digital marketing. The scope follows the evidence and the commercial priorities.

Yes. I am based in Batemans Bay and work with businesses across Eurobodalla and the wider South Coast of NSW. Digital marketing needs to reflect the places you genuinely serve, without inventing offices or filling the website with repetitive suburb pages. Local SEO, Google Ads targeting and website content should tell a consistent story about your services and service area.

Yes. I work remotely with businesses across NSW and Australia, drawing on experience with Australian and Asia-Pacific organisations. Digital marketing reviews, SEO planning, Google Ads reviews and website design discussions can be managed through appropriate access and clear communication. Being based on the South Coast does not limit the work to local businesses; the right approach depends on the customers and markets you want to reach.

Yes. You can work with me as an independent digital marketing consultant while retaining an existing agency, developer or internal team. I can review the relationship between SEO, Google Ads, website performance and the business outcomes you expect. The purpose is to clarify what is working, where the evidence is missing and which changes deserve attention, with useful recommendations the people doing the work can act on.

That depends on what is holding the business back. SEO supports discovery, Google Ads can reach active demand, and website design affects what happens after the visitor arrives. Digital marketing performs better when those decisions are connected. If the website cannot turn suitable visits into enquiries, improving it may be the first priority. If the offer and website work well but few people find them, search visibility or paid acquisition may deserve attention.

Practical Advice. Clear Communication. Marketing Built Around Your Business.

Digital marketing has no shortage of acronyms, dashboards and confident promises. Those tools have their place, but they should never make the business harder to understand.

My role is to listen properly, ask the right questions, give you a straight answer and help build a digital presence that supports where you want the business to go.

If you are based in Batemans Bay, elsewhere on the South Coast, in Canberra or anywhere across Australia, and you believe your website or marketing could be working harder, let us start with a practical conversation.

No smoke and mirrors. No predetermined package. Just experienced advice, respectful use of your budget and a strategy built around a genuine understanding of your business.
